The First International Bank of Israel (FIBI) is among Israel’s five largest banking groups. The Retail Segment
The First International Bank is expanding its activity in the retail segment and is offering households advanced services in the areas of current account management, credit, investment advice, savings, pension advice, mortgages and more. The Bank provides its customers with a wide range of advanced service channels, with an emphasis on direct banking channels such as the internet, mobile phone applications and automatic service machines, which ensure that service is available rapidly and effectively 24 hours a day.
FIBI Group leads in providing services to diverse populations, such as the defense forces through: Otsar Ha-Hayal; The Teachers and Faculty community, through its subsidiary Massad Bank, which is considered the “teachers bank” and the religious-orthodox community through “Pagi” branches.
FIBI for the Community
The Bank considers it essential to promote social values and community outreach, alongside its business functions. To this end, the Bank actively cultivates its long-term involvement and integration in the social fabric, including by promoting volunteerism among its employees and collaborations with entities, organizations, and associations that support their respective communities. The Bank has been channeling its philanthropic contributions towards aid and support for our defense forces and the rehabilitation of communities in the Gaza Envelope, including through the initiative to aid and support Kibbutz Nir Oz, which was launched early in the war and continues to this day. The Bank’s leadership seeks to align and integrate Kibbutz Nir Oz’s community restoration efforts, and the Bank has made a donation to establish a children’s house in the Kibbutz’s new Halutz Neighborhood, which is currently being built, in addition to regular donations to the community.
Other initiatives include: a rehabilitation program to treat injuries at Bar-Ilan University, Rimon Farm—a series of workshops aimed to help prevent and mitigate post-traumatic symptoms in soldiers, The “Tools from the Waves” program, in collaboration with HaGal Sheli (“My Wave”), an association that supports combatants with physical and mental symptoms and disabled veterans, The “Makers for Heroes” program, in collaboration with the “RESTART” association, and The “Iron Sisters” initiative to support enlisted reservists’ wives.
